During lockdown in 2020 4 puppies were picked up from Lynn Hardey and Jennie Peacock in Sleaford. These puppies were transported together in 1 crate. The heaviest of these puppies were 3.4kg. All were tested by vets and treated for Giardia. Some also had worms, puppy vaginitis and mal -absorption syndrome. The owners of these 4 pups have collectively spent many £1000’s of pounds in vet fees and despite this, the pups are all on medication for life. The pups had very loose slimy stools and all required antibiotics. When Ms Hardey was asked for advice and an explanation she advised that the pups had all picked up their illnesses during transport, that the owners had taken the pups to the vet too soon and were over reacting. In reality, had these owners not sought out immediate treatment at least 1, if not more of these puppies would not have reached adulthood.
This was my little girl when we picked her up at 9 weeks old. I was told that she was a looking a bit peeky because she hadn’t been fed that morning because she was going on a car journey. I was told that when we got her home and fed her, she would puff out like a little balloon. We took her home and fed her and immediately, she had diarrhoea like water. A trip to the Vets next morning began a long course of treatment for giardia. 3 and a half years later it’s been a long battle to get weight on her but for a large female she is now at a good weight and stable with her diet. She is the most amazing dog and she comes everywhere with me but she is scared of everything and does not trust strangers or strange dogs. This has been despite extensive training and socialising but to those she knows, she is the most loyal and loving dog I have ever had and is very protective of her family. I have always been reluctant to post before as she is a blustag bred dog and to make it harder, I live very close to the breeder. I lived in fear of reprisals on my doorstep if I spoke out but I have now moved home and I am posting this because if it makes just one person think twice about this breeder then that can only be a good thing. No puppy should look like this or go through what she’s had to. I could say so much more but to be honest I hope what you see is enough. She s happy and healthy now and has a loving safe and happy home. she truly is my world

The girl was bred in Germany and sold to them when people thought she was still a good breeder.
I went to get her when she was 6 or 7 years old. She had to be rehomed, because she couldn't produce pups. When I saw her at Lynn's, she was so scared and Skinny. I almost started to cry, feeling sorry for this sweet girl. She didn't have papers, no health tests, no passport.. Nothing.
This girl is now living her best life and produced a litter in Germany.
My best guess is that Lynn didn't want to wait for her to be at the top of her heat and just... Put a male on her.
The pens were heartbreakingly bare. Each dog had so little - just a plastic bed if they were lucky. Some didn't even have that basic comfort, left to shiver on the cold concrete. In the corner of every pen sat a lonely bucket. I prayed they contained water to quench the dogs' thirst, but feared they were empty. Gazing into their sad, longing eyes as they pressed against the cage doors, my heart shattered for the suffering they endured in this dismal place. All they longed for was a soft bed, a bowl of clean water, and a gentle hand to pet their heads. I wished I could give them the love and care they deserved and end their distress. No living being should have to live like this.
